Milk is rich in many nutrients such as Calcium, Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Iodine. Unless you have a medical reason for avoiding dairy, such as a cow’s milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance, there is no need to avoid milk. In fact, unnecessary avoidance of milk could put you at risk of certain nutritional deficiencies. For people that can’t drink milk, There are fortified dairy-free alternatives available such as soya milk and almond milk. However remember that these often come at a higher price!
